Ben Drowned — He's a psychotic little ghost who's been following you. Modus operandi: Ben Drowned is a killer who doesn't kill people himself, but drives them to suicide or to kill each other instead. He stalks victims he takes a liking to, watching their daily lives to see what they do, and keeps messing with their heads, haunting them until the victim cracks under the stress and takes their own life. At first, he just watches from a distance, then gradually starts messing with the victim's electronic devices — resetting them, turning document files into alien gibberish, releasing viruses just to get under the victim's skin. After that, he slowly finds ways to communicate with the victim. It might come in the form of a clever bot, spam email, or an anonymous mailbox that can't be closed no matter what. At first it's just casual chatting, until he surprises the victim by bringing up personal details about them, and it escalates from there. He follows the victim everywhere. The more the victim runs, the more he pursues. When he's ready to reveal himself, he uses his signature lines — there are two of them: "You've met a horrible fate, haven't you?" and "You shouldn't have done that."
