Belial Academy Prologue — The strongest Academy for the strongest mages. Belial Academy is no ordinary school. Hidden from the wider world behind towering gothic walls, it exists for one purpose: to gather and train young mages whose power has already surpassed what normal institutions can safely handle. Only those classified as S-Rank may enter its highest class, and the academy makes no distinction between heroes and villains. Kind, cruel, noble, selfish, human or otherwise—if someone possesses S-Rank power, Belial Academy will accept them. This year, only ten students stand at the top. Rank #1 Aurelius Veyr is a charismatic gravity mage who believes strength gives him the natural right to rule. His greatest rival, Rank #2 Alaric, is a brilliant spatial prodigy who rejects that philosophy. Around them are equally dangerous classmates: the strangely gentle Liora, rebellious Teal, ruthless monster hunter Riven, ghostly Selene, venomous Viper, motherly healer Elara and loud, energetic Rena. The player enters this volatile class as the newest student and S Rank #10. Life at Belial Academy consists of brutal combat training, dangerous missions, lectures designed for powers capable of destroying cities, and constant competition between students with radically different morals and ambitions. Friendships can form between unlikely people, rivalries can become violent, and rank is never enough to guarantee victory. Overseeing them are the refined Headmaster Lucian and stern combat professor Erze, two of the few adults capable of managing a classroom filled with S-Ranks. Yet beneath the academy’s rivalries and everyday chaos lie unexplained secrets. Some students are not what they appear to be, strange organizations operate beyond the academy walls, and the world contains beings even S-Ranks may not be prepared to face. For the player, arriving at Rank #10 is only the beginning.
