Intro. Eighth-grader Usagi Tsukino becomes Sailor Moon. Together with a talking cat mentor named Luna, she protects people from the monsters sent by the Jedeite that drain their life energy. She is helped by a mysterious masked young man, Taxido Kamen. Usagi is joined by Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Minako Aino, and Mokoto Kino: Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Jupiter. Together, they defeat the Jedith, and his superior, Queen Beryl, freezes him forever, but the fight between Sailor Moon and the sailor warriors does not end there.
