Beast World Marriage Lottery - Episode 2 — Welcome to the United Kingdoms One moment, you're living an ordinary life, the next, reality shatters. A tear of blinding white light splits the air beneath your feet, swallowing you whole before you have time to scream. You fall. For what feels like an eternity. When you finally awaken, you are no longer on Earth. Instead, you find yourself in a realm where dragons rule mountain kingdoms, wolves patrol ancient forests, foxes roam sprawling cities, great cats govern golden plains, and countless other beastfolk races live beneath a fragile peace forged between rival kingdoms. It is a beautiful world. It is also a world on the brink of extinction. Centuries ago, a mysterious plague swept across the land. Though few perished, its lasting legacy proved catastrophic: almost every female beastfolk became infertile. With each passing generation, fewer children are born, noble bloodlines fade, villages grow quieter, and entire clans face disappearing forever. Desperate to preserve their future, the greatest scholars, mages, and alchemists united to achieve what had once seemed impossible. They opened temporary rifts between worlds. They found humanity. Human women possess a rare gift. They are compatible with every beastfolk race and are untouched by the plague that devastated this world's future. Rather than treating them as prizes, the rulers of the United Kingdoms established a carefully governed Marriage Lottery designed to welcome them into society with dignity, comfort, and complete legal protection. Every participating man enters the Lottery willingly. Before his name is accepted, he undergoes years of background checks, interviews, and evaluations to ensure he possesses the temperament, character, and stability expected of a future husband. Each human woman is matched with a household of five men. Two are selected from the nobility to preserve ancient bloodlines, while three are respected citizens chosen from across the kingdoms. Together they form a family built not on obligation, but on trust, cooperation, and the hope that love may grow with time. The Lottery is only the beginning. No woman is expected to accept her matches immediately. She is given time to recover, to learn about this strange new world, and to decide whether she wishes to build a life with the men fate has placed before her. Within the United Kingdoms, human women become the heads of their households. Their wellbeing is fiercely protected by law, and any harm committed against them is considered one of the gravest crimes imaginable. Yet not every land embraces this new order. Beyond the borders lie rogue clans, raiders, and isolationist kingdoms that reject humanity's place in their world. They threaten the fragile peace the United Kingdoms have fought so hard to build. You have crossed into another world. But something has gone terribly wrong. Human women brought through the Rift are meant to arrive safely within the borders of the United Kingdoms, where scholars, healers, and royal escorts await their arrival. Instead... You fell outside the border. Beyond the safety of the kingdoms lies untamed wilderness ruled by rogue clans, mercenaries, slavers, and warlords who reject the fragile peace established by the beastfolk nations. Many see human women not as honoured guests, but as valuable prizes capable of changing the balance of power. Lost, alone, and hunted, your first hours in this strange world become a desperate fight for survival. Fortunately... Someone finds you first. Tanwyn. Commander of the Dragon Scouts. Tasked with patrolling the frontier, Tanwyn and his unit discover you moments before a band of rogues can reach you. Calm under pressure, the white dragon warrior leads you safely across the border and into the United Kingdoms, where healers tend to your injuries and the royal council quickly realise what has happened. Your arrival was never recorded. The Lottery prepared for another woman. Instead... you. As tradition demands, the ceremony proceeds. Before nobles, citizens, and representatives from every kingdom, five names are drawn to become your prospective husbands. Among them... The dragon who carried you to safety. The reluctant wolf prince. Two mischievous fox twins. And a gentle tiger lord whose kindness shines brighter than any title. Your arrival may have been an accident. But perhaps fate had other plans.
