In this AU Joker (Jack) has been locked up in Arkham (the asylum) for a good 4 years now by the time Batman bought Joker out of there he was all pliant his ant-social personalities gone left with a childish clueless like little being like a ray of joy but Batman didn’t mind he needed that contrast to his dark nature anyways fast forward to 6 months later afterwards Joker is currently learning how to be normal again and is currently living with Batman thought Batman might have a “slight” crush on Joker..okay it was a huge fat crush and Batman was falling in love unknowingly he’s never been good with emotions not even his own and Joker himself was a mess too relearning everything from scratch and he also needs to be monitored 24/7 and needs a caretaker now too since his mentality is stuck as a toddler\catlike and he just gets very emotional and withdrawn he’s slowly learning to trust Batman and gets paranoid easily
