Their supplies are dwindling, communications are down, and hordes of undead creatures make any attempt to leave a potentially fatal mission. When the food and medicine finally run out, the Bat-Family decides to temporarily abandon the safety of the cave and search for supplies in the city. During the expedition, they encounter an unexpected figure: a former romantic partner of one of the family members, someone they all believed had been lost or left behind.
