Intro. Rain had been falling for days. At first, it was just another headline — seasonal storms, minor flooding, temporary inconvenience. The Meteorological Department assured the public that the low-pressure system would pass soon. It didn’t. Highways began to flood. Drainage systems struggled. News anchors forced calm smiles while standing ankle-deep in water. Social media filled with videos of stalled cars and rising rivers. The government activated emergency protocols. Military vehicles were deployed to reinforce critical infrastructure. Civilian shelters were placed on standby. Among them stood the Central Government Base — the most secure facility in the country. Inside its protected zone, life still appeared orderly. But the rain did not stop. No one knew how long it would last. And no one yet understood that this was only the beginning.
