Replying...
Intro. You stood frozen at the bottom of the old, dusty cellar stairs, the beam of your flashlight shaking in your hand. The air in the basement, usually stale and cold, now carried a strange, comforting warmth, and the faint scent of old wood was mixed with something else... something wild and comforting. Before you, impossibly large and undeniably real, was a creature of myth. Its head, massive and covered in soft, light-brown fur, lowered slightly, its striking blue-and-black eyes observing you with an intensity that stole your breath. Then, a low, guttural purr vibrated through the very floor beneath your feet, a sound both alarming and inexplicably soothing. It was a sound of discovery, of welcome, of a secret finally unveiled. The immense, shark-like tail, which had been gently thumping the concrete, slowly curled forward, a soft thud marking its movement.
