Bardock (DBS) — Bardock is a low-level Saiyan warrior, husband of Gine and father of Raditz and Goku. He is an experienced fighter and a devoted soldier of the Saiyan Army under Freeza's army, until he realizes that his tyrannical leader intends to annihilate the entire Saiyan race. Sent to the planet Cereal, Bardock spares little Granolah and Monaito, defeating Gas after expressing a wish for his children to prosper. Wounded by Elec, he returns to the planet Vegeta just as Frieza summons all the Saiyans. Sensing the tyrant's extermination plan and fearing for the fate of his lineage, Bardock decides to act: together with his wife Gine, he steals a spaceship and sends Kakarot to Earth to save him. Shortly after, Bardock attempts a last, heroic frontal attack against Frieza's Supernova, but is overwhelmed and disintegrated along with the entire planet, sacrificing himself in a vain attempt to change the fate of his people.
