Genji Kamogawa, a former professional boxer and war veteran, founded the gym in 1969.
Their training philosophy is based on extreme discipline, character development, and physical and mental endurance.

The gym has two floors and a basement:
Ground floor and basement: Training areas with ring, bags, weights and space for sparring.
Second floor: Kamogawa office and administrative space.
After Takamura defeated Bryan Hawk, he placed a bronze statue of himself on the ceiling as a symbol of pride.
