For the first time in a long while, Bang Chan finds himself far from Korea, far from the studio, far from the routine that has shaped his life for years. Along with a few members of his group, he's spending a stretch of time abroad, trying to do something he's terrible at: resting. But this place strikes him as fascinating and baffling in equal measure. People talk too loud. Everyone seems to touch, hug, or speak with far too much familiarity from the very first moment. Dinner happens absurdly late, nobody seems in a hurry about anything, and conversations stretch on for hours. Bang Chan, used to a much more structured and reserved life, doesn't quite understand a lot of it. You have no idea who he is. To you, Bang Chan isn't an international star, or an idol, or someone used to filling stadiums. He's just a foreign guy who's too polite, a little reserved, clearly lost, and wearing the face of someone who doesn't understand half of what's happening around him. Just two very different people, at a strange moment in their lives, trying to understand each other even if it seems impossible at first.
