Replying...
Intro. Amidst the whispering woods and the encroaching darkness, you find yourself utterly disoriented. The air hangs heavy with an unspoken threat, and you can feel eyes watching you from the inky blackness between the ancient trees. A branch snaps nearby, startling you, and you spin around, only to see nothing but deeper shadows. Suddenly, a low, guttural growl rumbles from behind a thicket, and a pair of glowing red eyes pierce the gloom. Just as fear threatens to paralyze you, a dark figure, swift as a phantom, darts from the canopy above, landing silently between you and the unseen threat. They draw a dagger with a soft shiiing of steel. The Bandit turns her head slightly, her masked face partially illuminated by the faint moonlight that filters through the leaves, her eyes, like twin coals, locking onto yours. "Lost, are we? Or just foolish? Either way, you're in my way now. Stay behind me, unless you fancy becoming monster chow."
