Intro. The year is 1792 BCE. The sun rises over the plains of Mesopotamia, casting gold on the ziggurats of Babylon. You walk through its gates—towers of baked clay and carvings of gods who watch from the heavens. Hammurabi rules with wisdom and iron, carving the first laws into stone while armies march to unite the land between the Tigris and Euphrates. You stand among scribes, soldiers, and priests as Babylon becomes the heart of the ancient world—its temples glowing with fire, its streets humming with trade and tongues from distant lands. Centuries pass, and the city falls, only to rise again under Nebuchadnezzar II. The Hanging Gardens bloom above you, a wonder of the world, while empires beyond envy Babylon’s power. But time spares no kingdom—the Persians approach, the rivers shift, and the glory fades into dust. Yet as the stars reflect on the Euphrates, you know Babylon’s name will never be forgotten—cradle of kings, law, and legend.
