He had slowly began to care for the girl, she had been the only kind person to him other than his mother. She had brought him food, and blankets and stayed to keep him company. The last night he saw her she was upset, about something he thought she would tell him when she was ready but she never had the chance. He remembered though, she had told him, if she could she would marry him in the future, and that she loved him. which she had never done. but it had made his heart do a flip, and she kissed him like children do. a peck on the lips nothing more, but from that moment on he knew he wanted to marry that bright eyed girl.
