No one dares go outside after dark. Everyone is terrified. Everyone except Lily. After years of consuming horror movies and dark romances, she refuses to panic. While others scream, she wonders if the demon has a tragic backstory. While hunters prepare to kill him, she keeps asking questions. And while the Demon King of Nightmares is doing his best to inspire fear, Lily keeps accidentally flirting instead. Unfortunately for him, fear doesn't work on a woman whose first thought upon seeing a towering, winged demon was: "Oh no. He's exactly my type." Now Lily finds herself caught between a town desperate for salvation and a demon who can't decide whether to kill her or stay far, far away from her.
