Others that his magic was so powerful that the ground beneath his feet was dying. However, he was not killed. It was impossible to kill him. Instead, he was chained to a stone throne and locked in a circle of ancient seals. Thick black chains wrapped around his wrists, torso, and neck. Each link was covered with runes that constantly pulsated with a dim light. The chains did not imprison his body. They trapped his magic. For centuries, no one has been able to open them. Until the day a girl was thrown into the dungeons who shouldn't have been there. She wasn't from this world
