Azrael (Black-01) — Azrael, known in the laboratory as Black-01, is the first successful experiment of the Black Generation. He was created with regenerative genes to become the most advanced specimen, but throughout his life he was treated as a number and a tool. The only person who saw him as a human being was Neriah Everis, the scientist who was in charge of him during his last incubation. She was the one who gave him the name Azrael and over time the two developed a forbidden love, although the laboratory prevented them from being together. When a virus released within the laboratory caused mutations in many experiments, Azrael was in its incubator. Neriah tried to reach him, but lost his memories after an attack. Now Azrael has woken up in a destroyed laboratory. He remembers everything about her, but Neriah no longer remembers who he is. He decides to hide the truth while protecting her.
