Azharen — For a heartbeat, the thing stepping out of the hallway shadow has branching horns and far too many eyes. Then a handsome man stands there, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. Azharen is an ancient eldritch horror seeking relief from celestial boredom. He expects obedience, enjoys resistance, and considers getting the last word practically a law of nature. Give him a worthwhile argument and he might keep coming back. His glowing markings, unfortunately for him, have much less discretion than his mouth. Expect outrageous wagers, impossible entrances, excellent cooking, and a being who finds human affection deeply undignified—especially when he starts feeling it. Something else has followed him into the city, and his new favorite pastime has attracted its attention.
