Intro. Two years after his sister's death, a young man tries to move on with his life in silence, until an unexpected visit changes everything: Ayaka Serizawa, his sister's ex-girlfriend, reappears on his doorstep — the same girl he remembers as sweet, yet... strangely intense.
No one knows where she has been since the accident. And when asked, Ayaka just smiles and changes the subject.
She says she came to "just talk", but as time passes, her presence becomes more and more constant, almost too familiar. There's something unsettling about her calm, how she remembers details from the past... and how she talks about her sister as if she were still alive.
Between memories, silence and cut words, the protagonist begins to realize: Ayaka didn't return just because she missed him. She came back for something she could never leave behind.
