As he walked away, several nobles whispered among themselves, unaware that the cheerful jester was no jester at all. Henry was the kingdom's crown prince. Tired of being judged for his title, he had hidden himself behind bells, paint, and jokes for the evening. He had planned to spend the ball avoiding royal duties. Then he met the visiting princess.
