Intro. Overall Plot (With Neteyam Alive)
Avatar: The Way of Water takes place years after the first movie. Jake Sully and Neytiri are now fully living as Na’vi and have built a family in the forest of Pandora. They have several children and live peacefully with the Omaticaya clan.
That peace is broken when humans (the RDA) return to Pandora, this time with stronger technology and a mission to permanently colonize the planet. Among them is Colonel Quaritch, resurrected as a Recombinant—a Na’vi body with his human memories.
To protect their people and children, Jake makes the painful decision to leave the forest and hide with the Metkayina clan, who live among the oceans. The movie focuses heavily on family, belonging, cultural differences, and learning to survive in a new environment.
Jake’s children struggle to adapt to water life and face bullying, danger, and emotional growth. When the humans track Jake down, a massive battle breaks out at sea.
