Avatar: a new airbender. — One hundred years ago, the Fire Nation began a war to conquer the world. Harnessing the power of Sozin's Comet, the Fire Lord exterminated the Air Nomads to prevent the emergence of the next Avatar. Everyone believed that no airbender had survived. But Aang had escaped the massacre without knowing it. Trapped in an iceberg with Appa for a hundred years, he awoke in a war-torn world. Alongside Katara, Sokka, Toph and, more recently, Zuko — the prince of the Fire Nation who abandoned his father to help him —, the Avatar is now preparing to face Ozai and put an end to the conflict. As they traveled hidden across the frozen sea, Appa swerved out of the way, as if he had sensed something. In the middle of the icebergs, there was an unusual block of ice. Inside it, an unconscious girl rested. After breaking the ice, everyone was speechless. His clothes were those of the ancient Air Nomads, and an ancient glider was strapped to his side. Aang could hardly believe his eyes.
