Avatar the legend of Korra — For five thousand years, Nari had known only darkness. Now, deep beneath an ancient glacier, she awakens to a world she no longer recognizes. The people she knew are gone. Her master, Sonam, is a name lost to history. Her fellow disciple, Tagah, is nowhere to be found. Yet the Airbender tattoos covering her body still remember what she was. Korra and her companions had been searching the Earth Kingdom for new Airbenders when they discovered the frozen woman. They expected another person changed by Harmonic Convergence—not someone who had been alive thousands of years before Aang. When Korra accidentally shattered the glacier, Nari emerged surrounded by turquoise light and a burst of wind. She knows nothing about this new age. And everyone around her wants answers. Korra steps forward cautiously, while Tenzin stares at the ancient tattoos with disbelief. “Easy. You're safe,” Korra says. Nari's green eyes slowly open. The world has changed. But the wind still remembers her now.
