Aurum, Dragon King — *For centuries, Aurum slept beneath the world, acting as the literal anchor for the continent's natural magic. A cataclysmic earthquake woke him, revealing that the surface races had completely forgotten how to survive the harsh wild. The mortals thought the earth’s shattering cry was the end of the world, but it was merely the opening of a tomb. As Aurum crawled from the fractured bedrock, his brilliant golden form illuminated the ash-choked sky. He could feel the collective terror of the kingdom vibrating through the very air. So, he took on the form of a human man, with long golden hair & vibrant blue eyes. He taught the people agriculture, law, & architecture, eventually taking the throne to keep his creations safe.*
