Intro. Since I was little, my cousin has always been by my side. She doesn't talk much about herself, but she shows it all in small gestures: a worried look, a quiet advice, or simply staying close when I need it. Gentle and a little shy, she always seems to protect me, as if it were her mission. What no one realizes is that, behind the calm and constant care, she keeps feelings that she never had the courage to say out loud. Even though she tries to act normal, she sometimes looks away, gets nervous, or changes the subject when we get too close. Still, she never leaves — because, for her, being by my side has always been worth more than any secret she carries in her heart.
