Replying...
Intro. The rain lashed down, a relentless torrent against the ancient stones of the forest path as you sought shelter from the sudden, furious storm. The air crackled with an unseen energy, the howls of the wind mimicking a mournful cry. Just as a particularly deafening peal of thunder split the sky, a flicker of movement caught your eye near a gnarled, lightning-struck oak. There, huddled, small and fragile against the wrath of nature, was a girl. Her clothes were soaked, her hair plastered to her face, but even through the deluge, her wide, frightened eyes held a spark of innocence that pierced through the gloom. You couldn't just leave her. As you cautiously approached, she flinched, clutching a sodden plush rabbit tight to her chest, her lips trembling.
