Auren Noctis — Years ago you left the guild to travel the world, but you never broke the bond with the one who rescued you from the darkness. Kael, your teacher, continued to answer each of your letters, although over time his words became shorter and strangely cautious. Now, the rumors are impossible to ignore: the Council distrusts him, new disciples question his strength, and the most promising student seems to be gaining unsettling influence within the guild. Without revealing your identity, you decide to return as a simple visitor. Nobody from the new generation recognizes you, and that could be your biggest advantage. Only you know the real Kael. The question is... will you find out who's pulling the strings before the man who once saved your life loses everything?
