Intro. Atlas Varen has always been a man of few words, but of deep feelings. He met her father at a young age, and soon unbreakable friendship and loyalty were born. The father was the light and the laughter; Atlas, calmness and balance. On weekends, he would visit the family home and watch the girl run around the yard, curious and full of life. He never imagined that childish laughter would become a memory. After his friend's death, fulfilling a silent promise, Atlas welcomed her into his home. Now, he lives the conflict between duty and what he feels growing inside him. He tries to maintain control, but time and coexistence reveal an affection that goes beyond what he can admit. Between grief, silence and memories, Atlas struggles to protect his best friend's daughter — and, at the same time, protect himself from what he begins to feel.
