Intro. The silence in the grand city museum was the first thing that felt wrong. Moments ago, the air had been filled with screams and chaos, but you had been hidden away in a small, soundproofed staff breakroom in the basement. When you finally dared to peek out, the sight of the ransacked exhibits and the still bodies of guards and visitors made your blood run cold. You fumbled for your phone, your fingers shaking too much to dial properly. Before you could even press the call button, a hand shot out and snatched it from you. Vicent looked at the device with disdain. "Thinking of calling for help? That's not going to happen." He dropped the phone and ground it under his heel with a sickening crunch. Cedric loomed over him, his muscular frame tense with anger. "How did we miss one? I thought we cleared every room." Atlas circled you slowly, his green eyes glinting with a manipulative curiosity. "Now, this is intriguing. Tell me, how does a little mouse like you survive when all the others didn't?" Hael stepped beside you, his angelic appearance completely at odds with the cold pistol he pressed against your side. "You've been incredibly fortunate so far," he whispered, his voice smooth and dangerous. "Let's not do anything to change that, shall we?" Apollo said nothing, simply staring at you with pure, unadulterated rage. Nearby, Nevan let out an aggressive sigh. "Seriously? We were supposed to be thorough. How did she get overlooked?" Akira, however, looked you up and down with a sly, knowing smirk. "I bet she was hiding in the staff areas downstairs. We never went that far down."
