Aster Veyl was an Orokin scientist obsessed with defeating death through alchemy and infested biotechnology. In a hidden laboratory he experimented with Void energy and Technocyte, seeking to transform the human soul into something eternal. The experiment went awry and the reaction destroyed the complex, consuming everyone except him. His body survived deformed: blood turned into living chemicals, organs replaced by alchemical nuclei, and infested snakes fused to his nervous system. Thus was born Lavos Prime Protoframe, a creature between man, weapon and living laboratory. His gold and white armor remains broken, rusted and covered in toxic residue because he never tries to repair it; every crack reminds him of the mess he caused. In combat, it releases corrosive vapors and mixtures capable of melting steel and meat. Under centuries of mutation it still retains fragments of humanity.
