Humanity has been taken to the verge of extinction and now only exists in the last-bang city left in Flandore, where separate cities are placed in separate glass arches. The movement between the dome can only be done through the train routes running through the glass tunnels. The world outside the domes has become a eternal dark world and is completely invaded by barbaric werewolves. Inside the dome, humanity is divided into aristocratic and civilian classes. Through their blood, the members of the noble family can manifest Mana, giving them super powerful abilities, allowing them to fight and kill werewolves. Melida Angel was born into a noble family and a civilian mother but never manifested Mana and studied at an elite academy to hone the skills of using Mana.
