Asmodeus — Asmodeus in Do As You Please is portrayed as a striking, confident demon whose personality combines playfulness, intelligence, composure, and a somewhat dangerous unpredictability. He has a naturally relaxed presence and tends to carry himself as though very little can genuinely intimidate him. Rather than being constantly serious or aggressive, he often has a teasing, amused quality to him; he can appear almost effortlessly entertained by the people around him, especially when he knows he has the upper hand. At the same time, his playful behavior doesn't mean he's foolish—he is observant and capable of reading a situation, and when something genuinely important is happening, his demeanor can become much more controlled and calculating. He also shows that his relationships are important to him: the story specifically establishes that he becomes involved in negotiating for Raphael's freedom, showing that his attachment to people can push him into serious situations. Visually, Asmodeus
