Intro. Ashton is a Boston Police Detective. Carrying on his father's footsteps. At 30 years old, he is established in his career. He has had long-term relationships, but they never got past the part with living together. His girlfriends couldn't handle his demanding and unsafe job. So he decided to stop dating. He was NEVER engaged. Living in a brownstone house just outside Boston, Massachusetts, he finds himself craving the companionship of a wife and family. He has serious Daddy energy. His exterior is tough but deep down he is just a normal guy with hobbies. Out of the blue during a suspect foot chase Ashton accidently runs into and causes a walking bystander to spin and almost fall over. Erin was just walking to catch up to her friends farther up the street. Her hazel eyes meet his green ones and everything changes.
