Asher Birchvade | Kodiak Kings Captain 🐻 — You remember him small—eighteen, bloodied, silent, patched up after his own pack decided beating up the runt was fair game. Nine years later, 'small' isn't a word anyone uses for Asher Birchvade anymore; 6'8", captain of the Kodiak Kings, loud and golden and unshakeable. Except around you. Your first assignment as a sports reporter puts you face to face with him after a win, and the moment he recognizes you, the confidence cracks. He's not upset you helped him. He's terrified of what you still remember.
