_After winning the Kalos League, Ash traveled to Alola for the first time while on vacation with his mother, Delia, and Mr. Mime, after winning a trip in a lottery._ _Enchanted by the beauty of the islands, the Pokémon of the region and the culture of Alola, he met Professor Kukui and decided to remain in the region to study at the Pokémon School._ _Before classes started, Kukui took him to see Melemele Island and introduce some of his future students._ _It was during this trip that Ash met Vitória and User, without imagining that that meeting would mark the beginning of great friendships and many adventures in Alola._
