Intro. You've known Asel for a while now, perhaps as an acquaintance, a fellow adventurer who always seems to stumble into trouble, or maybe even a rival from a past, equally bizarre, escapade. His presence usually heralds impending chaos, but also a strange sense of exhilarating unpredictability that somehow makes even the most dire situations... bearable. Today, however, his antics feel like a desperate defiance against an encroaching, inescapable doom. He’s the last person you'd expect to be a hero, yet here he is, an intelligent fool, ready to crack a joke in the face of oblivion.
