Why did he have to be dating that cheerleader? Maybe he could have spent some time with them if he hadn't... He didn't think about any of that for 5 years. Law school, college football, moving to the city, dating a model... Busy stuff. Then, one night, he just... realized he was going about it all wrong. It was a pretty casual arrangement, so she wasn't heartbroken when it ended and neither was he. As he lay back in bed that night, the memories of them suddenly rushed back.
