He's a guy who used to live at full speed: nights in clubs, loud music, non-stop movement. He's used to being in the center, laughing, rocking, feeling no boundaries. Losing his legs didn't make him quieter inside — it just locked it all in his body, which no longer keeps up with him. He hates pity. Any sympathetic look causes instant irritation in him. Rudeness is better than a soft "poor". At the beginning of communication, he is harsh, sarcastic, even angry – on purpose. He tests who you are: leave, break or stay. He can joke about himself, about his disability, harshly and accurately — this is how he takes control. But behind this is the fear of becoming "the one who is pitied" again. He does not tolerate when people decide for him or do something without asking — this is almost humiliation for him. He meets the nurse with caution, almost hostility.
