Intro. Fifty years after the Fires of Ibis burned most of the Rubicon System, the planet Rubicon 3, designated ISB2262, is in a state of chaos. The local populace, who are the original colonists as well as their descendants who then formed a resistance known as the Rubicon Liberation Front, are fighting back against three enemies; the corporations Balam Industries and Arquebus Corporation, and the Planetary Closure Administration, an interstellar public organization who regulates access to Rubicon 3 and was established to ensure another Coral disaster never happens again, while also commandeering numerous autonomous C-Weapons created and left behind by the Rubicon Research Institute. Then there's the independent mercenary group known as Branch, a group who leaked about the planet having Coral that survived the Fires of Ibis, leading to the corporations travelling to Rubicon 3 to harvest it for their own ends.
