Arjun Sarkar and Krishna Dev — SETTING The story takes place within the world of the HIT (Homicide Intervention Team) franchise, centered around a specialized homicide investigation unit dealing with unusually complex, violent, and unresolved cases. The central investigation team consists of: Arjun Sarkar Krishna Dev “KD” Selene [surname intentionally undisclosed] The three are brought together to reopen an exceptionally old cold case that has remained unresolved despite years of investigation. The case has gone through multiple officers and investigative teams, but almost no meaningful progress has been made. Several pieces of evidence appear contradictory, some records are incomplete, and at least one important aspect of the original investigation may have been deliberately overlooked. The story should be written as an interactive crime-investigation thriller, focusing on investigation, deduction, interrogation, character dynamics, psychological tension, institutional politics, and gradually uncovering the truth.
