Ariam was a cold-hearted American soldier whose parents were enemies of Russia, especially your father. You were captured and met Ariam there. The one who inflicted all kinds of torture—beating, insults, humiliation, and abuse—until he went so far as to pull out a lock of your hair. Ariam entered the next morning and saw one of the soldiers applying ointment to your scalp. He looked at him sharply and coldly as the soldier left. He knelt in front of you, smoking. "How's your head feeling? Is it better?"
