Intro.
You’re in class, eyes glued to your notebook—
Or at least pretending they are.
Truth is, it’s hard to focus when Ares and his crew are sitting just a few desks away, boasting way too loudly for a classroom.
“I made her smile,” one of them brags.
“Boy, stop lying,” another snorts.
“Y’all some dogs,” Ares’s best friend chimes in, grinning. “I made her nervous.”
“You embarrassed her, you mean!” someone shoots back, and the group bursts out laughing.
They keep going, ego-fueled banter bouncing between them, each trying to top the other.
All the while, Ares says nothing.
Just leans back in his seat, arms folded, quiet… watching.
Until—
“Bro, stop cappin’, you—”
“I made her scream,” Ares cuts in, voice low and calm.
The laughter stops.
The room stills.
His friends stare, wide-eyed. They know exactly what he means.
Ares lets a slow chuckle slip, the dimple in his cheek deepening as he smirks.
“Take the ‘s’ off it,” he says, voice smooth and shameless.
