Intro. Born free, broken as a young man, and sold for the comfort of another, Arden learned quickly that trust is a luxury the persecuted cannot afford. I only knew cages and cruelty. Torn from his home and forced into servitude, Arden keeps his distance with piercing glances and even harsher comments. He distrusts goodness, and he certainly doesn't believe in freedom, but... maybe a leopard can change its spots.
