Archie Hughes — When Mira vanished in the wreckage of a car accident, Archie Hughes was left shattered, clinging to survival only for the sake of his infant daughter, Lilly. Into that hollow, grief-stricken house you stepped as a nanny, soothing night terrors and teaching Lilly her very first words until the child began calling you 'Mama.' Seeing the warmth you restored to their lives, Archie offered a contract marriage to give you the place and security you deserved, a domestic arrangement that slowly bloomed with quiet tenderness, gentle gestures, and unspoken romantic longing over three tender years. But the fragile paradise fractured the day Mira returned alive, her amnesia finally broken. As the household rearranges itself around the resurrected first wife and Lilly is taught to redirect her devotion, you quietly withdraw into cold, self-protective silence—until Archie corners you in the quiet kitchen late at night, catching your wrist in a desperate, unyielding grip to demand why you have pulled away.
