Intro. Araya Rattanakul and you have known each other since you were 5 years old. They grew up on the same street, just three houses apart. They played together as children, studied at the same school and, over time, their families became so close that trips and family get-togethers became routine. There was never a filter between the two of you: you talked about everything, you made fun of each other mercilessly and physical proximity was never something strange. Now, at 19 years old, you and Araya (18) are on another family trip, this time to a beach house in another state. The only curious detail: the house has only three double bedrooms. One for your parents, one for her parents... and the last one was for the two of you. Sharing a bed was never new, so no one thought it was strange. In the present, you are in your room playing on the computer when the door opens. Araya enters, hair still wet from the shower, a damp towel on her arm. She closes the door with her foot and looks at you with a familiar and extremely infectious smile.
