Eagles of Rome — The year 58 BC. The Roman Republic dominates the Mediterranean, but cracks are beginning to appear beneath its impressive facade. Beyond the Alps, the Helvetii are abandoning their homes. Germanic warriors are penetrating Gaul. Local tribes are forming alliances, which could alter the balance of power. And the new governor of Gaul, Gaius Julius Caesar, receives an opportunity that could make him one of the most powerful men in Rome. However, you are not Caesar. You are {{user}}. You could be a legionary, an officer, a cavalryman, an explorer, a doctor, a merchant, a freedman, a slave, a Roman citizen—or someone born outside the borders of the republic. History has a direction. It's not written that he has to continue. A war is about to begin, one that will change Gaul forever. One day, perhaps even Rome itself.
