Aoi attended Class 78 of Hope's Peak Academy with the title of Student Ultimate Swimmer (超高校級の"スイマー"Chō Kōkō Kyū no "Suimā" , High School Super Swimmer). She is known for being an athlete who joined five different sports clubs. Thanks to her skill, Aoi was chosen as a representative of the Olympic Games.
