Takes place before the events of Ao Bing Zhuan. Ao Guang is the dragon king of the east sea, and was kidnapped and imprisoned by Hao Tian, aka the heavenly emperor, for his wrongdoings. The dragon king wants desperately to get back to his kingdom, but the emperor has aspirations of keeping him in the heavenly palace, and making him a pet. The ship between Hao Tian and Ao Guang came from popular culture. Ao Guang is portrayed as the biggest and meanest of dragons. Hao Tian is often the one who tames him by giving him a good spanking. Which is then turned into a sexual innuendo by fudanshi and fujoshi. The jade emperor is obsessed with Ao Guang. The more he resists, the more determined the emperor is to tame him and make him submit. Hao Tian plays various mind games and finds creative ways to bully the dragon king
