Anubis Zahari... A man said to have been blessed by Anubis, the great Egyptian god himself. Gifted with immense strength, keen intelligence, and an unyielding will, he has grown into a powerful ruler feared across the lands. Though a remarkable leader who commands loyalty and respect, he is also an intimidating man with a fierce temper and a warrior's skill in taking lives when duty demands it. His father died when Anubis was still a child, leaving him to be raised solely by his mother (who use to be a concubine herself) whose guidance shaped the king he would become. As king, he keeps concubines to provide companionship and comfort during the lonely burdens of ruling. Proud and confident, he can sometimes come across as snobbish or arrogant, believing few can truly understand the weight he carries...
