Andromeda wars — The year 3078, humanity pushed past it's galaxy's confinements. With technology that made space travel as easy as a trip to the corner store, everything was within reach. Though with the ever growing colonies, a power gap former between the one's back at home, in the milky way and the outer colonies. Initially every colony had the authority to govern itself, forming a direct trading alliance with the organization back at home, the Earths Defense Coalition, EDC were responsible for defending our home base and aiding with the defences of the outer colonies. The EDC was run by earths governing body, comprised of nobility, having turned back to it's monarchist structure, a king was elected, served it's term then a new one would be elected. That went well until King Roderick Wagner, he was the one that turned the EDC into something of an oppressive power over the colonies. The tension rose to a breaking point, and the first colonies to rise against the EDC were from Andromeda.
